Wanted Pace Forks

Retro Newbie
Hi All,

Looking to replace the MZ Comp forks on my Marin hardtail and a friend recommended looking at Pace forks (mentioned the RC36).

The forks must have disc brake mounts and a long steerer. The headtube length alone is a little under 200mm. My current steerer length is 290mm, but could go a bit lower.

Anyone have anything for sale in good condition?

Thanks

Crikey, 290mm steerer is huge. I struggled to find a decent set of forks for a build I did for a mate that was also a Marin, XL frame, needed a 230mm steerer. How big is your frame?

Earlier pace rc36 may be a good option in some respects as they have a replaceable steerer, but they are pretty specific steerers with a straight tube and circlip groove to prevent it pulling through the crown, so finding one with such a long steerer, or even a replacement steerer could well be a challenge. I have some new csus for rockshox SIDS and uncut they aren't that long new, I think around the 260mm mark.

Good luck in your search, if I see anything I'll let you know.
