pace forks

Dirt Disciple
hi there first post and all that

i've got an opportunity to pick up an early Pace RC30 fork - coincidentally the same model as on Steve's Orange Vitamin T in the gallery.

i.e. chrome stantions, canti only, i believe bolt together crown.

Thing is, it looks like it's off an Orange Elite so the headset is 1.25...and i want it to go on my Bontrager (1 inch) is it possible to swap in new steerers on these?? or is the sheer girth of the 1.25 going to be a pain.

any experiences/ideas??

Pace are probably the easiest fork to change steerers , if you can find one .
Go for it , worry about details later .
