Bought off billinjah on here just before xmas. Cant afford to build up the bike they were going on so have to see them go. Excellent condition apart from the steerer which just needs cleaning up. Billinjah should vouch for thier condition.

what length of steerer ? it looks like a 1 1/8 ?

hi mate. yes its the r35s

steerer is 1" but im not sure of the length and im not with them to check it.

The steerers on these can be easily swapped and changed to a longer 1 1/8th version if thats what you need. All you need is an allen key, which is why the steerer is pushed down to ease on packaging, cheers

You would have to change the crown also , as a 1 1/8th steerer would not fit the exisiting 1" crown

Nope it looks to be shimmed, so therefore a 1 1/8th steerer should fit, just remove the current 1", remove the shim and insert 1 1/8th ...you will need a new race collar though (in order to fit the headsets lower race to the steerer.)

Ah! ... trying to trick me ... Eh!.... if its already a 1 1/8th crown shimmed down to 1" then , you will only need the steerer bit and race as stated ........ I'll get me coat....

Also note that it is an early pair set up with a magura brake mounting brace.

Tis indeed a lovely 92 RC35; one of the early production with the Magura specific bridge too.See those steps in the carbon profile!
