Yo Gil thanks for the introduction. Actually the fork has springs only in one leg as it did originally. Basically the pair of Evo3 springs are removed and a Pro Class 2 spring stack(4 springs in all) is modified and fitted in their place. The air seal and valve core are removed to prevent the air side working, the oil damper remains as original. The main reasons for doing the conversion was to overcome the problem of damaged seal grooves and reduce the amount of servicing. I have a vague feeling that Gil's conversion had a hard spring stack fitted which can be confirmed by any blue paint on the main springs. Watch this space for future servicing details!!
