Neilll, in your case mate the pointing and laughing has little or nothing to do with the position of your Maguras dude!

Airforce 2 RC38s are supposed to have the brakes at the front, actually.

Back or front on the RC31; its up to you although as Cherrybomb pointed out rear mount will give nominally better braking power.

Airforce 2 had a similar mount to the Pro Class 2 which used the lower bridge mount bolts but of course only had the one [front mounted] bridge.
