Well here's the final post describing our journey back after Gdansk.
After leaving the campsite at Gdansk we headed to the seaside resort of Leba. Pine trees like the Gironde coupled with the shops selling the equivalent of "kiss me quick" hats and Blackpool rock! Understandably huge sandy beach was immensely popular with young families and the nearby Slowinski National park provided some much needed cycling!
Then to the Drawsco lakes area where road gave way to cobbles, which in turn gave way to mud track ,before we reached the site by the lake excellent area for water sports and, I suspect mountain biking, although we didn't see organised trails.
On then to the border town of Szczwen and a marina campsite for the last night in Poland - time to fill the fridge with Polish beer and suasage before the trek through eastern Germany ( night spent on motorway services) to Holland and back to Veurne in Belgium where we rode the cycle ways to the coast about 40 miles - and got soaked to the skin - Belgian rain is wetter. I swear then even Polish rain ......now what was that saying about Belgian miles being worth more than the rest? Cycling along the coast into the driving wind, rain and blown sand it certainly seemed so!
So back home once again and the joys of work .....ah well only a few more weeks to OWMBTC 10! The travel reporter is signing off -thanks for tagging along and see you soon!
