Off to A&E for you,but if you think it aint too bad ,put the hand in a basin of cold water for at least 20 mins
Years ago i worked as a breakfast chef in a local hotel, the large fry pans i used for doing the eggs ,sat completely on the hob and were red hot half full of oil
As per usual, the guy delivering the veg, turns up at 6:30am,but this time asks me if he can have a roll on bacon.Sure i say ,give me a min an ill cook some for you, dont bother he says and before i can warn him, grabs the pan handle
This pan had been on the stove for 2 hours and he found out the hard way how hot these things get.
Poor chap lets out a ear-piercing scream ,jumps and basically throws the pan[half full of hot oil]into the air, spilling the oil all over the lit stove.
Half the kitchen is now alight and veg guy doesnt know where the cold tap is, so seeing water in the bain-marie plunges his hand into it.
I thought he was going to pass out
Great morning that one ,the veg guy needed an ambulance, the fire brigade was called thus evacuating the hotel at 6:45am and nobody got any breakfast [except me
