Overhaul old Sansin hubs from Muddy Fox (ball bearing size!)

I've decided to have a go at overhauling the hubs on my old Muddy Fox Courier that I'm (slowly) bringing back to life. I originally was going to go down the route of new hubs, rims etc. but the OLD of the frame is 126mm on the rear limiting things a little.

Anyway, after doing a bit of reading, i've stripped both front and rear to check what state they are in. The front axle is fine, but the rear is slightly bent. The cones are slightly pitted (but not too bad IMO) - and same with hub races themselves. So, wanting to replace the ball bearings, I've counted them and on the rear I have 9 and on the front I have 11. It seems the standard is 10 3/16″ per side on the front, and 9 1/4″ bearings on the rear.

Any hub gurus out there know if I my front hubs simply have 11 3/16″ bearings per side or 11 bearings of some other size?
Thanks
