I am helping to organise a reunion for a group of people that covers a membership of nearly 60 years. ie. 1950s through to current times.
We have a Facebook group already started for those members that are already 'friends' on FB. This has generated some healthy discussion and renewed some old aquaintences. Have created a website which will be a portal for those not on FB to find out more, contact us and register their interest. Have a mailing list which is 10 years out-of-date but better than nothing I guess.
So, hopefully we will get the local paper to put up an article to publicise the event, giving the website address as a contact point, and to get those interested parties not on our radar to contact us.
Anything else we could do to get the word out to the long lost members?
