Am I right in thinking this is one of the first runs of this model and is this paint job original. What’s its current market value?

Nice condition, and orbit is developing a following.

Unfortunately, nice quality 90s close clearance racers are plentiful so choice is huge and prices are low.

Having owned one from new I would say that is the original paint job. It will probably have 126mm rear spacing which is a drawback - mine has been spread to 130mm. Only one way to find out the value! I still use mine reqularly; 531 competion frames have a nice ride quality, so someone will probably want it.
