Orange Vit-t with disc conversion?

Seller came back with this :

The frame came as a warranty replacement direct from Orange without a welded seat clamp - he has an orange seat collar to sell with it.

Frame number is A3061061 which looks correct for an Orange afaik (its certainly similar to my prestige's.
So the main thing then is that it was made by A-Pro, in common with other Vits, and the 1 1/8 isn't as rare as I thought. The build date of June 1993 would suggest a 1994 model if it was any other make than Orange, but they seem sometimes to have made changes in-year, so it could well be a late 93 model.

Just to muddy the waters - My Vit T also has an 1 1/8 head tube and it has no welded seat clamp ... because it sheared off on a ride in the lake district in about 1995 and I had to finish the rest of the ride standing up.

Have you looked to see if it's still in your shed lately?
