its not the stays that have the problem its the main triangle that suffers.
the main triangle is made of prestige tubing which has a habit of rusting through.
the rear triangle is made from god only knows (according to dave yates who built alot of the early ones)
if i had the money i'd take a punt at it, you could probably make back what you pay from the parts.
