I'm a newbie so please be gentle!
I have rediscovered an Orange P7 in my garage which I've had from new, but neglected for many years in favour of such base objects as a Specialized Stumpjumper and more recently a Lapierre Zesty.
My kids are really taken with this piece of dusty, rust spotted ephemera and have been asking how old it is and were there dinosaurs in those days. I honestly can't remember how long I've had it and was told that there are experts in these forums who are quite good at carbon dating, so I thought I'd give it a twirl.
The frame number is A950300471 and most of it is original, apart from some X-lite QR skewers and seat post clamp in purple. It's got Mint Sauce stickers - a portrait of Summer and Love, Dirt, Dreams and Devotion, which is still a mantra of mine. it's a big part of my MTB history, which stretches back to 1989 with a Raleigh Lizard ATB, so any pointers would be useful.

the p7 is an iconic bike in mountain bike history as well your own so its got to worth getting the dusters out lol ! get some pictures going .
