Orange P7 respray

So the P7 I recently acquired is in great condition but the paint work is a little tired and faded over the years.

I want to get it resprayed, ideally in the original orange colour scheme. This led me to think that sending it off to Orange would be the obvious option. However from reading some more on here - wondering if there are alternatives and perhaps I should just go with my own colour scheme?

Not sure....anyone got good feedback from frame resprayers?

Ooooh tough choice, depends what you want the bike to end up like? I had a very tired and abused C16R, i wanted to breath some fresh air into it, give it a new lease of life with a modern twist, yet retaining the original feel. And this is how it turned out, not for the purists but such a great bike to ride

(The paint is dark grey metallic, Blue Orange decals from Gil_m)

That's as tidy as a tidy thing mate, very nice. Whilst I'm not exactly a purist, I do want to keep the bike an orange colour, but part of me also wants it metallic....who did you get yours done by or did you do it yourself?

The Frame, Stem & Forks were Stripped, Powdercoated locally and cost £45 (I was running a budget on this build)

Bike was in a sorry state when i collected it, but i am happy with how its turned out

Much cheaper to get it powder coated in a colour of your choice but Orange do do a great job and 'might' have the original decals. No saying they'll still be using the original colour though.
