Orange P7 Colours

Hi all,

When the P7 was first released (1994?) what colour options were available?

I have a 95 p7 in a greeny/blue colour

Nice. I had 98 P7 in a similar colour.

Its currently in pieces wrapped in dust sheets up the loft as the workshop was getting a tad full

Not sure about 94 but around 95/96 yellow was an option. I bought a frameset from new and days earlier had seen a team rider at the London bike show on a yellow ali framed bike. I asked if it was possible to get a P7 in that colour and a few days later it was duly delivered.

That's interesting. I don't think I've seen a yellow one. I've seen the earlier yellow fades but I'm interested in the solid colour options.

If I was a betting man I would say this is actually my old frame. I sold it to someone on STW and it did have a dink in the downtube.

So I've just picked this up from the sandblasters and I'm still no closer to deciding what colour to paint it. I'll be getting it powder coated so fades aren't really an option. At the moment I'm leaning towards Satin Black but that's a bit boring

How about one of those chrome-look powders (if your coater stocks it)? Then it's a little nod to the nickel ones...
