Orange on FB

So…..it is indeed an orange, I’ll go with ‘93 prestige, only cos I know no different. I can take pics if anything else will help with identifying it.
Forks are indeed RC30’s, poor condition tho, black tape around the legs, chrome coming off etc.
Suntour xc comp brakes fr and rr which I assume are original.
Everything else is a bit of a mash of parts TBH.
XT rear mech.
UNO stem.
Club roost bars.
Suntour front mech and I assume shifters too.
Suntour xc comp front hub and 231 CD rim.
STX rear hub and rim is Mavic 236.

I'd also say Prestige. Suntour was an option - and those cantis are a really lovely design. Back when kit was serviceable too, so a strip and degrease could do wonders.

A bit of love, polish and elbow grease and that has a lot of potential. It's clearly been loved and used given the new parts.

Will watch with interest

Assuming I do something with it, I’d love a white orange fade paint job, with matching white on the forks……with black and silver running gear. Question is, how close do you go to catalogue or period correct?

First things first, I’ve got an RC200 to finish.

I have a 92/93 Ritchey Logic Prestige frame so can cross ref with that if it helps at all. Not sure if the Logic ones were the same??
