Orange Clockwork LX

Orange Clockwork

I am pretty sure that this is a 1992 but it could be a ‘93. I have had it since new but genuinely cannot remember when I bought it.

First photo shows it in its original build.

It is currently built up as a homebrew fixed as shown in second photo.

Frame, forks, stem, hubs, wheels, seatpost all original. Currently with Bontrager Race bars, Bontrager cranks, no-name flat pedals, Selle San Marco saddle and Avid Single Digit 5 front brake.

Frame is a 16” and is straight without any dents.
BB to top tube = 16”
Top tube = 21.5”
Down tube = 24”

The frame has been stripped and resprayed black. It isn’t a perfect paintjob but is reasonable. One of the cable guides on the top tube was subject to an abandoned attempt to remove them all with an angle grinder but will still work perfectly.

This would make an ideal retro fixie or could even be restored to its former glory with some care and attention to detail.

Looking for £150 but feel free to make me an offer.

I don’t want to post it so collection only from Bolton/Wigan area. Or, as I travel around the NW regularly I could also offer delivery anywhere around M60 area (South Manchester, Rochdale, Bury) along M61 or M6 between J21a and J33.

Any questions or more photos just ask.

What did you do with all the original bits which are far more valuable than the new bits you've added?

Including them in the sale would be good.

They were all sold off or broke years ago - before I realised that there was a market for bikes like this.

You're right, with hindsight I would have kept it original and probably wouldn't be selling now.

I think your probably best off splitting this. Someone would buy the frameset to restore and you already have interest noted for a couple other bits.
