I’m rebuilding an Orange C16RS and was fitting the bottom bracket.

I stripped the bike years ago and can’t remember correct BB length.

I have UN70 length about 122mm, which I thought came off it. But I also have a UN52 in my box length about 110mm.

I have trial fitted the UN70 122mm along with the cranks and it looks a bit long but hard to say as I have yet to fit rest of drive train.

does anyone know correct length for an orange c16RS? Any other bottom bracket advice appreciated.

Thanks

The length generally depends on the cranks, not the frame. The BB shell width will need to be right for the frame, 68mm or 73mm.

What cranks are you going to run, that will define the length you need.

All my Orange frames with similar geometry have been 113 for a range of Shimano cranksets & Middleburn RS3. On a recent build upgrade to a Middleburn RS2 I had to fit a 122mm
