Acquired some f7 forks and an I-beam stem. Took the Liberty if having that powder coated to match.

Got plenty of parts with a few exceptions. More to follow.

I've heard of the C16R, a school friend of mine had one from new, but I'm not familiar with the C16RS. What is/are the difference(s)?

Great resto & tribute to your friend.

Looks like a Series 8 decal on the seat tube? The 'before pic looks like it may be 7.2. The F7 forks were Series 8 but pretty sure the C16 frames were only the lighter Series 7.2 tubing (with the prior Clockwork Series 7 & later ones 7.5). Catalogues back that up. Series 8 was used on the P7 frame. I've seen a few pics of Series 8 stickered C16's online but think they are an error - either from new or afterwards. My C16's are much lighter than my P7's for the same geometry

This morning’s job. Have a set of USE bars and bar ends. But bar ends didn’t have the internal spacer. So used an aluminium bar and cut and drilled some spacers. AD7ECEB0-477E-4394-AA2D-C2301ABDE86C.jpeg
also have some middleburn cranks ready to go Pending chain rings.
