Orange c16r brake boss

Does anyone know if the boss on the forks can be unscrewed or is it a case of chucking them out if you break one like I've done today?

THanks for the replies and advice. My brother in law is making a sleeve for the forks the same as the ones you can purchase. I'll hopefully have the bike fully built by next week
