Just come across this any ideas of year etc going to get frame num layer

95/6 would be my guess? Early ones from 94 didn't have the Crud Catcher mount. Went back to being called Clockwork by 97.

Cheers mate never noticed that mount the silver triangle sticker has an 8 in the middle if that helps

I'd go 97 with those decals - font plus star on seat tube. Last year of the C16R

Had the last frames gone V? can't remember. Certainly a late C16 for sure.

If it’s any use….mine has Crud Catcher mounts, no rear cantilever cable stop and rear slot in seat tube. Serial number indicates 94?

First C16R's had what I call the space age font for the decals.

This was my 95.

Quite a mixed bag…my frame also has the alloy forks in frame colour instead of the later F7.
