 That looks in great nick. Do you think it's been re-painted?

I reckon that's the original paint ed, the orange/white fade has a better graduation. .....as for size, I reckon that's a 19" frame though. The 17" has more slope to the top tube. The distance from the brake bosses to the top of the seatube is longer too. Should build into a nice 'O' that one....
Here's mine for comparision.

Cheers.

Cheers Ben :D

I've contacted the seller and he's confirmed it's the original paint and is 19" c to t. Quite fancy this having sold all my retro aluminium content in a fit of anger after my seatpost fail but it'll have to wait until payday, by which point I bet it's gone. :(

Is that the correct forkset on the frame??

I just picked up some nos alu ones (1-1/4") which I assumed were correct...

I'd have bought this F+F ages ago if the price wasn't so 'strong'

I think the price may be a little high too Steve unless it really is almost mint. Was thinking about making an offer when I've got some cash.

Think the forks could have been either the Orange Cro-Mo or Alu bitd. From memory the Alu ones cost quite a bit.

Fighting the temptation and losing, but do I really need another Alu Orange before i find the right clockwork? :? :? :?

Even though it's in such good condition, surely the price is in the clouds? It wouldn't make even half that if he auctioned it.

As some of you guys have experience of both the O and the Elite, how do they compare? My impression is that the Elite was more expensive, double-butted vs plain gauge, light vs middle weight and racey vs steamrollerish. Would that be about it?

not having had and Elite, I believe it to be true.
My Alu-O tips the scales at over 5lb for the frame, which is hefty .
