I bought the other one - the polished E3. Top bloke and can't wait for it to arrive as it's one of my dream bikes. Got some top kit (Hope/Pace/Middleburn) to go on it!
Quite glad I bought the polished one given comments re holes in top tube on this one!
This one looks sorted now, but can't believe previous owner would mis-spell decals. How careless is that? Stuff like that really winds me up!

yeah this one is mine, decided to sell this one on ebay to see what it goes for. i expect i'll take a loss to be honest, i don't think anyone will hit the BIN price.

the frame(only) cost me 60 originally, the rivets etc cost me 30 to sort out and the stickers were by Gil M for 18 i think. the fork i had lying around but it's painted to match and rides nice in this frame. i have also sorted the drop out as someone had done a bad repair of a helicoil.

the headset is a basic ball bearing headset but it's pretty new and is smooth.

just decided i didn't need it, shouldn't have really bought it but sometimes i can't help myself!

overall it's in a way better state than when i got it as it can actually be built as it should be as opposed to having to zip tie a brake cable on etc and the original spelling mistake was "aluminiumio" instead of "aluminium O" and also the original sticker was very small and dead centre on both sides of the toptube and it looked stupid as well as being spelt wrong.

main reason for selling is everytime i go into the garage to ride a retro orange i always find myself plucking out the 1995 P7, much prefer steel.

if someone from retrobike wants it for the BIN price(100 +posatge) i will chuck in a set of shimano mt60 cranks with used but usable black rings

:)

I'm seriously tempted by this John, but I must resist.... I MUST RESIST...

Interesting it's BP front mech too... 8) 8)

the thing i have noticed about ali o's is that there were loads of different cable guide styles, my other one is 2 cable stops on the top tube for the brake and the gear stops are downtube/bottom bracket/chainstay where as i have seen all 3 together on the top or side of the toptube making it top pull for the front mech. also i have seen combinations of welded and riveted.

very strange :? suppose it doesn't matter as long as they're all there
