If you look under the first pic in your album there'll be a link called "link options". If you click on this a window will open and you can choose what type of links you can make to your pics. There's also an option to always show the link types rather than having a drop down box (I, personally, prefer this option).

Thanks

Thanks guys - I've turned it into a picture editing forum. You guys must be computer software programmers who ride hard on weekends!

I'm going to paste the IMG Code from Photobucket below and see what happens ...

Hey up CK - I recognise that bike - and remember how good it looked all those years ago. Why not get it re-anodised? (please please please don't paint it). Shouldn't cost too much.

As for forks - the rigid pace forks looked great. Give them a go. If you want to keep front bounce - then i would stay with the pace forks you got. You could liven them up with new elastomers and even injecting grease once in a while...

If you want more powerful brakes than your cantis, why not try some magura hydraulic rim brakes?

Yay!

Hey Drifting J

How's tricks - glad you joined retrobike - as my old trail shredder and bike builder extraordinaire I should listen to you. I think you're right painting her black is a bad idea. A gentle refurb and TLC is in order. I'll treat myself to a Chris King headset and fit either the RC35's or a modern sus fork ... all components and chainset to be black except for a gold chain (how crazy will that look against the gold frame).

Thanks to you I'm now hooked on Thompson seat posts and stems! So light yet so tough ...

a vision ....

Seems my gold chain idea isn't unique.

[WARNING! Modern Bike Alert 2]

This is the idea in my head - just imagine the Orange frame with a rear V-brake and squint a little ...
