Orange Alu 'O' project, eBay Peterborough

Ohh interesting, I've taken a bottom bracket out of one of these before, (in fact the one from you Ed, was quite fun really). The skill came in useful later on to get one out a Trek 7000. It doesn't look too bad and shouldn't take too long to get out without damaging the threads. A quick spin with some steel cups should fit the starting threads that may be damaged.
Frame looks the same as mine, 3rd batch so 1992 model.

What a mess, tho it may be worth a bid..... :?:

XTR bits then an Alivio chainset is an interesting pairing up tho

 why initialy irritating, it is most satifying to get the job done. Probably most so than finishing the build itself.
