One for the dads

Yet here in the US, there aren't any, or many, laws to penalize the practice of "sexting" (where teens send X-rated pictures of themselves to each other).

This is one of the reasons many of our youth clubs are failing.Nobody wants to be branded a pedo, just because they want to do something constructive for kids and teens. Many would have been in clubs ,scouts,BB etc as kids themselves and want to return the goodwill, but are afraid the community will view them as sinister

The knock on effect of this political correctness madness.

I read this with amusement and trepidation. Out here in Singapore, I have two white, blonde babies. Each time we go somewhere touristy we will get asked a few times if people can take photos of our kids, and that's not counting the ones who stand near them and pretend to take photos of themselves ...

Having had a run in with a lifeguard at the swimming pool of a posh hotel in the UK while taking snaps of my daughter, this came as quite a shock when we first move out here, but we soon got used to it. To be honest, the day that my 2 year old doesn't get passed around a tram load of Chinese tourists for a photo with each of them is going to come as quite a shock to him!

thats the whole truth and nothing but the truth

Sorry to disagree but a bully beat down is one thing. Taking pictures of your OWN kid is HARDLY in the same league.

Are you stalking me?

You missed my point. My point being would you rather have security do nothing or do something? Yes the guard could of handled the situation differently but at least he was aware of a potential situation and confronted it.
