On-One Inbred Single Speed Bike - SOLD

Tallpaul

Gold Trader
Recently purchased direct from On-One for £475 in their sale.

Description:

20" Single Speed Inbred (non disc) frame with On-One ridgid cromo forks
One-One 26" Single Speed Wheelset
SRAM V brakes
Charge Spoon Saddle
Gusset Pedals
Truvativ chainset
On-One bars
Tioga 2.1" Skidrow Tyres

For frame dimensions, follow this link:

http://www.on-one-shop.co.uk/acatalog/O ... ed_27.html

I have replaced the tyres with Tioga 2.1" Skidrows and also fitted some white ODI grips, white gusset pedals and replaced the cranks with a 42t Truvativ, I'll also include the original 32t truvativ cranks and BB.

The bike is in VGC beside a couple of paint chips already present when I purchased it. Reason for sale is that I was going to use it as a commuter/hack bike but I'm moving home and don't have space or need for it.

Considering the original price and what I've paid for the extra bits, I think the price is fair but please contact me if you are interested.

This is an ace bike but I'm going to need gears for touring - how big a job is conversion? Would it need a new hub etc?

It's an SS specific frame so lacks a mech hanger or cable routing for derailleurs, converting to geared would be beyond economical sense.

Rohloff (or Alfine) would be the solution here.

thanks for a quick reply - you're right it would be bit of a job (although alfine looks attractive) - I'm going to have to wait for a geared version of the above to come available. I was really taken by the v-brakes etc not available on the newer frames. If anyone has one, I'd be very very intersted!

Paddlepanda, the current "not sliding drop out Inbred" (geared) frame comes with "Removable V brake bosses like always. They come with them. Use them, or keep them safe for when your disc brakes go tits up the night before a big ride."
