Yes, it's the one that's been on ebay. Not passed around I might add, just relisted by the previous owner.

He wanted £1500 for the full bike and then wanted £750 for the frame and a few parts.

I picked it up for a bargain and I'm selling it for a bargain! I took the bars off as they weren't in-keeping with the bike but added a seat clamp and Ringle cage.

As the the 'crack'. Weren't not talking Grand Canyon, more like a few mm of hairline! I've read that 4/5 of Manitou's have a hairline crack of some sort in a place. Never heard of one snapping though and never heard of an unhappy Manitou FS owner!!!!!!

As I've said in my pm's to you, I'm very interested and could probably scrape together the money today if you wanted to sell it, provided that the other person you had interested doesn't want it/can't buy it.

Meant to ask before - how do the forks/rear end work? Is everything nice and smooth, or will the elastomers need replacing? How are the rear pivots?

Also, what grade elastomers are in there, do you know?
