 Wishy washy wank! very good.

Any other nuggets of intelect?

I'm sorry but I hate the Guardian. My brother-in-law reads it and he's a Librarian for fecks sake. He works in this 'progressive' school where they don't believe in punishment. The kids are all on the rampage around town every night but its all OK because they are troubled  . I'd cane the little bastards. The sodding Guardian is full of that kind of liberal fluffy wishy washy crap and is so far up its own pretentious arse it can smell its own colon. I hate it! The 'Arts' supplement that he enjoys so bloody much is full of absolute rubbish, and the sports writers all think they are sodding Keats.

Sorry if I have offended regular readers but it is a right load of wank and a waste of good trees.

Angry from Morpeth

Hay Dr S, I wouldn't even read the Guardian if you paid me! It was in the G2 supplement which I nicked from the library (where i use the 'net) and the only reason I nick it is because it's got a decent crossword and the TV listings! I'm offended that you could think I read it!! (I jest)

It has to be said that the police don't help themselves.

Take a walk round Huyton and all you see sprayed everywhere is "KILL THE MATRIX".

This is because wherever else you look the police are taunting gangs of kids, roughing them up, and performing illegal searches.

Doesn't help win trust...

But this doesn't get reported because it's not London, and isn't the G20 summit...

I read The Guardian.

And therefore must be one of the people you hate!!

ho hum!

Al.

So these gangs- hanging around underage drinking, vandalising, intimidating people, taking drugs, shouting and generally being a pain in the ass shouldn't be bothered by the cops?? They'd get more than a roughing up I was in charge. I'd cut their bollocks off.

I'm not taking sides at all, but a mate of mine was a copper for six months in Newcastle city centre and had to deal with these fookers every night- they would throw things at the patrol cars, start fires to draw them in, steal cars to get a chase etc. The little bastards would be let out the next morning to do it again the following night. In the end he quit... he couldn't see the point of risking his and other peoples lives chasing these same scumbags through the streets at 90mph day in day out.
The kids today generally have no respect for anyone so they don't get an ounce of sympathy from me.

Now on the other hand..... there is some woodland on the edge of town near the football pitch, a good half mile from anyone, where a group of lads have built some jumps and doubles. The bloody council went up with a Bobcat last week and levelled the lot and put in big trenches to stop them. These lads were doing no harm, keeping out of the way and harming no-one. Yes they will have been drinking and listening to Busted or whetever youth is into these days, but my point is- what is worse, hanging around frightening people and harrassing the cops or getting some air and breaking your own bones every now and then? These guys get my sympathy.

S, have you thought of a job in politics?

What we need is someone like you in charge!
