Applied for tickets in mens mtb, diving, track cycling, swimming and opening / closing ceremonies. Got naff all.

Same here.
Will probably go up to Hampton Court the day before to see the TT too (last I read, even the medal ceremonies are ticketless for that).

Only drawback of the road race - to prevent hordes of spectators trampling the flora and fauna, the Box Hill section will apparently be closed to the public.
