Olympic chit chat

It's so funny watching the Australia have a meltdown over our "dismal" performance...I mean a week before the start, apparently we'd already won 11 gold in the swimming so everyone else may as well not turn up...now our womens basketball team arn't going to show up to support the mens team becasue they didn't make the finals... ah Australia, we're such good sports, win or loose, we're so uncool

Mountain bike races this weekend, women's today although I can't see it in the schedule.
Men's tomorrow, which is. With Peter Sagan. Can't wait!

I loved the way that in the run up to yesterday the BBC were tallying up possible medals, and didn't even mention Nick Skelton.

The man is a year older than me and has a replacement hip.

What a rider.

That's horse for those who are now puzzled.

Re:

Gutted Muhammad got caught in the dying seconds to loose the Tae gold last night. He's cried with the emotion of loss...talk about the heart of a champion...he was awesome. Next time hopefully.

Japan coming second in the 4x100....incredible race. Sad to see the end of Bolts Lympic career. He's still got 3 more golds in him at 32 but the fear of losing has him done for, alas. Eliza the NZ Polevaulter lady....what a beauty. Nothing more attractive than Olympic athletes all day every day compared to thespian celebs

GB hockey women, class, a proper Olympic gold

Utterly brilliant performance, despite nasty tricks from the opposition. Goalkeeping masterclass from Maddie Hinch. I finally know someone who is a gold medallist! :D
