Old type Diatech disc rotor

Hi all - new to this forum although I've been around bikes for about 40 years or more and run a part-time local repair business where I live.

But I didn't come on here to advertise, so enough of that. I live in Mid Wales, I'm fifty something years old and I have a problem I need some help/advice with.

One of the bikes I have is a Raleigh HT3's that I acquired recently, and it has wheels with Diatech hubs (which look to be in very good order, almost new in fact), the front one of which has a disc mount. Herein lies the problem - the bolt hole spacing on this rotor mount is only 20mm (or 40mm across the diagonal/diameter) which I have found is a bit of an oddity and I can't find a disc to fit it.

The question is this - am I likely to be able to find a disc rotor and caliper without spending silly money? (and what size should I go for?). The bike currently has V brakes fitted, which work well enough, so if the cost of converting to disc is prohibitive I'll just leave it the way it is.

I suspect that the suspension forks on it may not be original (would it have had suspension forks originally? If so what make would they have been?) and they have a fair bit of play in them too, so these will have to be replaced. The bike had suffered general neglect when I got it so everything has been stripped and cleaned, with bearings lubed or replaced as necessary (most were in good order except for the BB cassette, which has been replaced) and new cables. The wheels and frame are actually in very nice condition and once the forks are sorted it will be a nice little bike which I may even keep and sell my old mtb.

All help or advice will be most appreciated :D

One like this? If so, mine was just a standard 6 bolt hub. I have the same wheels from a Raleigh RSP

Is it a four bolt disc?

If so:

Re:

Yep, that's the bike, same as...

As you can see, forks are completely different (are yours original, or did you swap them?). The disc hub is 6 hole.

not sure what the issue is? standard 6 bolt pattern as far as I'm aware.

The bike pictured was original except for the tyres.
