Old TA Specialities crank - extractor thread size?

I recently used my LBS fit a new BB in an old Claud Butler Holdsworthy road bike as I didn't have the correct size crank puller/extractor for the TA Specialities cranks; My normal Park extractor for modern cranks was just slightly too small. They had a hunt around for right tool and whipped them off no bother.

Six months on and I've noticed a stress fracture on the shoulder of the non-drive side crank so I need to get them off again, and would like to find the right tool to add to my toolbox.

Can some point me to the tool I need, if indeed they are still in production! I presume it's an imperial size. I've had a search around but can't find much... Cheers!

may need to be a bit more specific, I use the same extractor for my stronglight 99 bought 1986 and my shimano deore stuff from 1992. I assume Shimano hasn't changed so not sure when Stronglight did unless different threads from a french bike (but not per your post).

Sorry, my mistake. They're TA Specialities (original post corrected).

I bought the bike second hand and dated the frame to the 60s, but I think the cranks may be later - possibly late 70s/early 80s. If there's not a common alternative to the current size that springs to mind I'll take a pic next chance I get.

Right, I've hit gold. TA uses a 23mm thread, in case anyone else was wondering.

Be looking to purchase one if anyone has one for sale!
