i remember margam as it was my 1st NPS. A mile and a half tarmac hike from carpark to the bottom of the run which was about as technical as most of the run, didn't Longden and Steve Geall try to jump the dip and it end badly for them

Longden tried to jump the log at the bottom of the bowl and stacked it. Not sure if it was Steve Geall who wiped out but I've a pic of a rider face-planting with his feet nearly touching the back of his head :shock:
If I find the pics I'll see if I can scan them.
It was there that I saw a STS with Spins for the 1st time
