I have just taken delievry of an old 20" GT RTS frame... Its painted blue, and would like any ideas on how to strip the paint off, looking for polished alloy look...

And when I get some pics I must show my P7 off...

Is that the one from ebay (market harborough) with the mag 21 forks and the dodgy bottom bushings....?

Bottom bushes shouldn't be a drama on a RTS. Standard sealed ball bearing races, type 608RU 4 of, cost a couple of bucks each.
Pull them out with a slide hammer & pilot bearing puller though, there is a step machined in the centre of the bores of the alloy 'peanut' so they seat at the correct depth. Trying to press them out will cause tears!

Yup! Need a large frame, so I figured the mainframe will do...

How do you know the bottom bushings are dead? Ive stripped it out, all needs a good clean, and no dents in the tubes either, bonus!

Anyone after some mag 21s???

I emailed the guy about it, was thinking of keeping the shock ect as a spare.

Was worth an email to him as hes just up the road from me.

10x new bearings, type 608-2rs (as used in skateboards etc) 3 knicker off the fleabay!

Just got to get the old ones out now...
