Retro Newbie
Hi everybody,

Can anybody give me any information on this bike? I can give serial numbers etc if need be. I'm more of a current road bike man and don't know much about older bikes at all. Any help much appreciated.

Thanks

they make ideal commuters , and always seem to ride nice in geared or single speed format .

looks from around the mid 80's to early 90's .

just enjoy it and ride it

It's 85 or 86 - the model was sold through Halfords. (I spent a lot of time in 85 and 86 saving up money and lusting after bikes, Halfords was about where my budget stretched to).

It's nothing flash, but if you like it, ride it!

Thanks for the replies.

The rear brake cable is routed internally which isn't shown on any of the brochure pics?

I'll get the numbers off it tonight.

The forks etc seem fine? Maybe its just the picture? It's not been crashed as far as I am aware. My uncle has had it lying about for years and years after he used it for a triathlon.
