Yeah, it is very huge: 46cm/18". Huge :shock:

Probably the tall headtube icw the long wheelbase & the position of the bars give the illusion we're dealing with a taller frame.

This subject may have been visited before here, but, does anyone recall the early Cannondale bikes with the 24" rear wheel?

Any links to pics? I've done lots of searching on the web but found zilch.....

Another fantastic post repack rider. Lonve the bit suggesting 24" wheels have more grip than conventional 26" wheels, isn't that what 29'ers are suggesting now marketing babble never changes.

I still use a 24" rear wheel : First, I'm small taller (160 cm) and, on other hand, I ride sometime with classic 26x26" wheels bikes. The 26x24" is more funny, with a good grip for climbing and feelings near a BMX. Bigs wheels are not so dynamics…
I think, the 29'er is a good solution for giants
The wheel diameter has to be proportionnal to the size of the biker !
It's funny to see the trek 69 ! An old school cannondale SM philosophy for giants !
