Hi folks I finally managed to sort my log in out. My fault being a computer illiterate fool.
Any road I'm getting back into mtb after a long time away. In fact it's so long now the stuff I used to ride is now on here. Love the site and the cool stuff I used to drool over.

Current collection is a specialized rockhopper comp fs 98.
Manitou were frozen so I replaced with a set of newer cheap rockshox I got from a parts bike with a stripped bottom bracket. On the road now though.

Gt timberline as it came from the shop including the psycho 2s. Bit scratched up from being battered around someone's garage. But the grips had degraded into a sticky mess. And the shifters needed a bit of a
Strip and clean but it rides well.

Kona fire mountain 03 scratched but not dinged and I can't decide what to do with it.

Lastly my latest acquisition is a kona lava dome 93 Ish that someone had resto modded without the resto. Full Deore xt 9 speed with v brakes but the headset is rough as they come and the bottom bracket (sealed) is wobbly also got rust coming through everywhere. Can't decide what to do with this. Only got it today so I haven't started yet but I'm debating weather to strip off the lovely xt stuff and sell on as is or rebuild with the
Complete alivio Groupset off the gt and go to town on it.

Can't decide but I will get some pics up once I sorted out my Photobucket.

Thanks for reading

thanks for that. I've been into bikes forever and never bought one from a shop. I have built hundreds including a ten speed mtb with 16 inch frame and 16 inch wheels. (Not a mistake it had no breaks and was terrifying to ride but hey I was 13) The only mountain bike I kept before getting into bmx was a very early Saracen kili. Loved that bike. I ended up swapping it for a gt performer and an old skyway frame ( early TA) wasn't worth much in 97. Wish I had a lot of my old bmx stuff now but if I wanted to buy that lot back now I'd need to re mortgage my house. Not seen another kili in person. I do still have a 2000 performer but I'm 37 now and my ten year old asked why I was riding a kids bike lol.
