Old Kona cinder cone

Bought this as a project and wondered if anyone could identify year and maybe a colour code. The fact it has SRAM and avid brakes I think it has been upgraded

Circa 2003. The serial number may help nail it down a bit further. I’m. 99% certain that isn’t the original paint either.

Agree, never seen a Cinder Cone that colour.
What year did Konas have the mount on the rear for disc brake?
2000 maybe?

Yeah, about 2001 onwards I think. 20 years ago now!

Yeah think it's a Mish mash of parts. 9speed cassette . Elixr r brakes SRAM sx5 and rockshox Reba forks

Think the biggest issue is going to be the forks. Think there 2005 but no bottom end caps on outer legs. Just a hole with the shaft waving in the wind lol
