Old Colnago - Corrosion & Model Identity

New to the forum and looking for a little advice.

What it the best way to treat corrosion on the bottom bracket shell (picture attached)?

I have just got the frame and I am trying to identify if it is a Master, Mexico or Super - any thoughts?
