Old Claudbutler seeks a new home

I have my Dad's old (late 1930s/early 1940s) Claud which needs love and restoration. It is located in London EC1. Do you bike enthusiasts think that anyone could be interested in a project? Dad loved Claud so much I really don't want to put him in a skip.

somewhat doubt intended application pure track since it sports mudguard eyes fore and aft and is fitted with road pattern stem & bar

suspect "training" but then am no expert... ;)

That's a lovely example which is very worthy of a restoration, and I'm sure someone on here would be interested. As mentioned, there is a forum on here for selling bikes, so if you want money for it, you should post a thread there. All items for sale need a price, but that price can of course be £0 if you are happy to give it away (not sure if that was your intention, but obviously that would be very much preferable to a skip).

A road track model, beautiful bike. Nicely equipped, I'd love to conserve that, completely stripped and very carefully clean and catalogue it all. Please don't throw this bike in a skip.
