At the local train station, a notice of removal is stuck to the bikes if they have been or appear to have been abandoned by the owner

Some soon disappear others are sent to auction.

Not that I was deliberately hanging around to find out, I noticed quite by accident when I used to be a taxi driver...

I see this locked up at all hours at the mall outside of my bank.

Something familiar. On closer inspection, I noticed the one-off derailleur hanger....

It was then I remember it belongs to a customer of my LBS. She broke the hanger, and they couldn't get a replacement, so I made one for them as a favour.

Not much of the old Montage left now!!

Bars/stem levers etc seat post and saddle and rear mech all gone (not by me)

What a waste!!
