Just picked this frame up along with some wheels ,looks like i will be joing the single speed gang ....since i joined this site i am addicted to building bikes ,researching specs etc etc

What gearing are you using on the single speed ?
Looks like something closer to 1:1 rather than the classic 2:1.
Great for going uphill sure but will spin out very easily.
Personally I run 1.75:1 or 28/16, a compromise between my lack of fitness and the desire not to spin out too much !

Otherwise one fabulous looking bike

Just got the Frame and wheel set so far... Think i will add a Salsa Rigid Fork with XT discs and Titec finishing kit .

Any tips ,advice would be appreciated .
