Oh know, yet another bloomin 'what is this frame?' thread.

The seat cluster is interesting. If the seat stays wrap over the top tube I know that is a trade mark of Brian Rourke road frames.

I haven't seen Overburys with that style cluster though other than the pathfinder type frames which were completely lugged I think? Yours looks filleted at the head tube?

Having said all that the beauty of these hand built frames is few are the same!

Definitely not a KingSting (I had one), stays are not wraparound, its FBd at the headtube, dropouts and seat cluster.

I am at a loss, every mtb frame I have seen with visible seat stay caps has been lugged at the cluster.

Is this more common on road frames?

Looking forward to some more pics :D

Also, overbury's did use straight bladed forks but (I think!) on later frames as an option. Those look 8) btw with the lugged crown.

Seat cluster is a lug obviously, but the TT and seat stays are brazed in, the ST is inside - lugged.

Ignore that, its all FBd, its been a looong day.

pics, best I could do/ be arsed to do:

Maybe Ill do some better ones tomorrow, once I have negotiated ownership.

The name of a bike shop, its not important.

Can anyone with an Overbury enlighten me as to the frame number or at least frame number format please?

I'll be honest, I want an easy answer.

I really dont know what it is, Im confident its British built, early 90s, possibly a predominately road biased builder, good quality tube-set (forks imply Columbus to me), and NOT: Roberts, Lloyd, Zinn, BJB.

Hmmmmmm.
