i want to find an off road route to work....
i work in shoreham-by-sea and my route home would normally be along the sea front, then duck back in up through the town centre

BUT, i'm sick of all the traffic/pedestrians/general public, and would like, on occasion, to be able to burn off onto some trails.
can anyone help point out a route that kind of follows the north side of the A27 route back to mill road/where london road meets the A23 type area...??

i hope someone can help, my sanity kind of depends on it......:)

yes, but can't make out what routes are ride-able...:s
was hoping there was something else that can provide more terrain info/bridlepath routes etc so i could at least map it myself confidently...

Buy an OS map?

what the f*ck is an OS map?! ;)

i could, but i was really looking for a quick answer so i could try a route out on the way home today...:P

Not from anywhere near your way but Bing Maps OS map shows paths which include the sussex borders path, the South Downs way and the Monarchs way with other non named paths crossing the landscape north of the A27 between the River Adur and the A23.

Being a Scot I dont fully understand your rights of way laws but there does indeed seem much scope for offroad exploration north of Shoreham-By-Sea.

Get a map and get exploring

Bing.As close to malware as it gets.

but that aside :)
I really envy yourself for having the option,im a non driver and to get anywhere cant be done at the drop of a hat.more time lost getting somewhere by train then hoping to make it back for the return journey, really cuts down the hours im away :(
