Obama just carried on where his predecessor's left off, he's just a puppet like all the rest,
Ahhh, but who is pulling the strings?

Putin ?.

@Adruzz
Disagree is fair enough, but to post pics is just the actions of a prick. I might disagree with HF's politics or opinion, but im not going to lower myself to leveling insults at him.

Usually thats the reserve of someone who missed the point or has no definitive counter.

these threads usually take 5 - 10 pages before the animosity.
its refreshing to see it early on.
i'm more of a quiet admiration type myself.

I'll miss Michelle Obama, but not so much Barack. I view him in much the same way I view Blair, pretending to be left of centre but actually soft right and more same old same old. Of his 8 years tenure 6 were with a Republican senate, which I can only assume stifled him. The economy has recovered, albeit slowly, under Obama, but the national debt has risen to $9 trillion, much down to increased military spending.

Re:

Whatever your political views on Obama, he has behaved with dignity and respect throughout his term in office.
Which is more than can be said of his successor, even before he begins his term.
Some of this country's politicians could learn from too, I might add!

That is a great post. He really has shown how to be a statesman.

George Bush Jr and Trump will bookend him in the annals of 21st century world leaders.

I have no doubt, with that in mind, his reputation will only magnify over time.

Agreed Mike. Dignified and a statesman.

A lot of mike dropping and basketball posing

Too cool for skool

Like Cameron, not in touch with the ordinary people hence the anti establishment reaction

Re:

Agree Nick
Slick, educated and on paper, the man.
But he has been rejected by those most likely to have benefited from a Democratic Party.
As much as I want to say I like him, he's been a disappointment.
