Oakley prescription sunnies - HOW MUCH?!

I have Bolles too- got the specs plus three extry lenses on sale, so with the insert and prescrip lenses it was @£90 iirc (in 1996)

Just got a set of BBB powerview with insert- cheaper and more to the point, lighter than the Bolles.

so for 35 quid you get the frame and 3 lenses. does the prescription insert come with them and you just get that part glazed at the optician?

Yup! I think Dotbike also have spare inserts to buy- I noticed it would also fit onto a set of DHB specs I have if you attach summat to clip on to.

Yup- they's good specs, too- I was worried at first that the inserts were quite small, but they do the job just grand, and fit my face well............I think I'll weigh them in comparison to the Bolles to see the difference!

I gave my 'carbon' M-Frame Mumbos to my brudda - quite liked them at the time. . . and a pair of XT spd's from '93, kept forgetting to unclip and ended up falling over.

Glad to see they're a good fit- one reason I went with the slightly less wraparound powerview is lashes hitting the lens with wraparoondies.......funny shaped face, I suppose....... :P
