Hi all.
Due to my parents moving house and clearing out their garage, I'm being forced to sell my 1993 Marin Pine Mountain bike. After consulting with guys on here, I'm looking for £125 for it.
I've owned the bike since 1996 after purchasing from a mate who bought it new. It was never ridden in anger by me, and was basically a bike used for knocking about around the streets with my pals. I think I may have taken in to the local woods on one occasion and suffered a puncture at which point I realised off-roading was probably not my bag
I haven't ridden the bike in over 15 years other than a recent couple of trips to the shops, so it is in need of some TLC.
Things I do know need attention are a) broken front brake cable, b) rusty seat post (don't think it's original, but I'm sure the experts on here can clarify that) c) The seat is ripped (and I believe not the original).
I can't remember the frame size off of the top of my head, but I can certainly find out if required.
As far as I am aware, everything else on the bike is original:
Shimano Deore XT Groupset
Original Mavic rims
Deore XT hubs and Marin original tyres
Original frame (in good condition - not re-painted)
Original stem and Marin Lite T-6 bars
I'm based in Leeds and would prefer someone to come and see the bike and if happy, pay cash on collection. I may consider posting if there is no other option.
