Well, it is steel   !!!

Seeing as I've had to have a "sub" off the wife to fund a new (to me) frame, I now need to shift my one-of-a-kind Cotic Soul so I can pay her back (and keep her quiet).

It's just back from respray, NEVER been ridden since it's return, only built up waiting until I wasn't on-call, which turns out to be this weekend, but won't ride it as I need to sell it.

It's a 2nd generation Cotic Soul, can't remember how old off the top of my head, but have the receipt in the loft. It has never been crashed, apart from comedy slow-mo over the bar type stuff, so no nasty gouges, dings or dents.

Colour: Celeste Cosmos Metallic (Bob Jacksons) 8)

Decals: Custom made by Gil 8) 8)

Headbadge: Sterling silver by Jen Green at www.headbadges.com 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)

There is another Cotic like this, but it isn't a Soul, it was my Simple that I sold a few weeks back.

Now the only downside, thanks to my cack-handedness, I managed to scratch the paint under the front mech clamp  . I didn't loosen it off enough when adjusting  . It's "virtually" invisible when mech fitted, as long as you use a "traditional" front mech, not the low-clamp version.

Choice of red or black Salsa Lip-Lock seatpost clamp (not the QR version).

Looking for £285 posted.

The respray cost me just under £100 (respray, red pin stripes, decal placement)

The headbadge cost me.......well it wasn't cheap, I had to pay for Jen to make the mould, this is THE VERY 1st one she made, every other sterling silver Cotic headbadge made by Jen Green is a copy of this one ;-)

Apart from the scratch on the seattube, this frame is IMMACULATE, as you would expect for a renovated frame.

Anyway, let the pictures do the talking. As usual, pics do not do it justice.

Please note, it's FRAME ONLY.

I was looking at the cable guides - do you have to route hydraulic brake cables through an rebleed brakes when fitting them?
Basically what I mean is have you got to split the brake hose, feed it through the guides, rejoin the hose and rebleed the brakes? :?

Yes, you need to disconnect the brake hose and feed it through. You shouldn't need to bleed it again though, not unless you accidently squeeze the lever and lose some fluid.

The first time I did it I rebled the whole system, unnecessarily I may add, never did get any in the system.

How tall are you?
Does this frame fit you well?
Would I get away with fitting Pace rc41 fighters 150mm travel or would this upset the geometry too much?
