Retro Newbie
Hi Guys not the best first post i know but unfortunatly needs must.

My GT DHi was stolen earlier this week from my garage, in Iver Heath, Buckinghamshire. Its a 2000 model, one of the last to be made in the USA (easton tubing etc), the one that made Steve Peat famous.

The bike is in mint condition and hasn't been used for the past few seasons, it means a hell of alot to me as i have so many great memories on it.

Heres a list of the spec;

Main frame - Blue/yellow/black
Rear Triangle - Black (this is actually a 2004 DHI rear triangle all in black)
Front sus - Black Rockshox Boxxers
Rear sus - Rock Shox delux pro
Wheels - Mavic 521 rims on hope bulb hubs/hadley rear
Tyres - Michelin Comp 24's
Brakes - Hope 4 pots
Stem - Goldtec Brace
Headset - Cone Creek
Chianset - Shimano XTR
Gears - Shimano XTR
Chain Guide - MRP
Pedels - Grey V12's
Seat Post - Thompson
Sadel - PDS

If anyone has any info or sees one about (im sure the early models are not that common any more) please let me know. Also does anyone know of any other decent forums/websites i could post on to spread the word? On a final thought i was intending to race this year again!!

Thanks to everyone in advance

Stephen

Rear triangles been changed since and it doesn't have the crud catcher any more, front rim and rear sus spring are both in black now.

Thanks again

sorry to here it buddy single track world have a forum and bike radar are good places to try as well i hate bike theifs (id love to cut there faces off) thats how much i hate them sorry to hear about this on your first post buddy

Cheers guys, thats exactly the type of thing i was hoping for!

Cannondale king i totally agree  it makes me so angry, I live in quite a safe area and still cant believe its really happened.

I was stolen from my garage full of various very expensive car parts and a £500 guitar amp, yet it was the only thing taken, which makes me think its someone who know about bikes and their values.

Theres now a generous reward offerd for the bike's safe return or info leading to recovery!

No Questions asked.

PM me with any info.

Thanks

This sucks  I know the feeling having my bike stolen before but luckily I found it and 'persuaded' the guy on it to go to the police station with me.
Keep an eye out on

as there's a lot of international sales on it.

Hope you get it back soon and manage to get evil on the thief.

Thanks guys, its nice to see the biking community looking after their own :)

If it comes up through any of the usual channels i'm pretty hopeful it'll be spotted, and 'justice' will be serve  (within the guidlines of the law of course)
